A. Race Format
- Track Setup: 8 lanes
- Timing: 2 minutes per lane
- Breaks: 2-minute breaks between lanes
- Starting Lane: Assigned at random
B. Chassis
Legal Chassis: H&R Inline #HRCH02 only
Permitted Modifications:
- Guide tongue reinforcement
- Front axle bushings (inboard or outboard; holes may not be enlarged)
- Single motor brace and front/rear axle upright braces
- Clips, pin tubes, screws for body mounting (No Velcro)
- Any guide, nut, spacers, lead wire, lead wire retainers, and clips
- Up to 2 holes (max. 3/8″ diameter) under motor bushings for oiling
- Lead weight and/or tape
- Soldering of chassis halves, motor, axle oilites, front wheel retainers, and allowed reinforcements
C. Body
Requirements:
- Injection-molded plastic only (NO Lexan), 1950 or later, 1/24 or 1/25 American hardtop
- Windshield and back glass must be installed
- Secure mounting with clips, pin tubes, screws (No Velcro)
- Body must fully cover chassis when viewed from above
- 3D interior with driver; chassis must not be visible through interior
- Car number must appear on roof and both sides
- Wheels must be reasonably centered in wheel wells (wells may be enlarged but not cut into top surfaces)
- Body may be lowered and lightened; front and rear bumpers must remain
D. Motor
Legal Motors: Any stock H&R motor up to the 50K rpm Crusher
Restrictions:
- Any modification or tampering = disqualification
- Motor shaft may be shortened
E. Gears
- Only 48-pitch pinion and crown gears allowed
- Gear ratios limited to 9/33 or 8/29
F. Wheels & Tires
- Only H&R or Pro Track front and rear wheels allowed (may be resized in width/diameter)
- Front and rear axles must be solid steel, minimum diameter 1/8″
- Independently rotating front wheels are allowed
G. Dimensions
- Minimum Track Clearance (measured on tech block with all 4 wheels touching):
- .015″ from front axle forward (including body)
- .050″ from rear axle back (including body)
- No parts may drag on the track
- Minimum body thickness at center of roof: .030″
- Maximum car width: 3.268″
- Minimum front wheel diameter (with tire): .900″

For stock, plastic chassis, ready-to-run slot cars by designated manufacturers. No modifications unless explicitly allowed. In case of disputes, the Race Director’s interpretation will prevail.
⚙️ General Rules
- Only stock and clearly identifiable motors may be used. Motors may be inspected at any time.
- Cosmetic body parts (lights, antennae, mirrors) are optional.
- Tires must be sponge rubber (Fish, Natural, Treated, Wonder, etc.) or urethane.
- Silicone tires are not allowed.
✅ Permitted Modifications
You may:
- Shorten the motor shaft
- Press, glue, or solder pinions (gear swaps allowed across brands)
- Repaint the car, change its number, and swap wheel inserts
- Remove or retain traction magnets (track braid is nonmagnetic)
- Glue, true, resize tires; coat fronts with nail polish or super glue
- Replace press-on wheels with same-size setscrew wheels
- Swap metal and plastic gears
- Replace screws with similar-sized alternatives
- Adjust front axle or body height using manufacturer-provided screw holes
- Add tape or securely attached weight inside the chassis
- Secure bushings, lead wires, etc.
- Repair/replace stripped or broken body posts (no body lowering)
- Add/remove washers or spacers on guide, axles, or body screws
- Replace clip-in guide with 1/32 screw-top guide; use any lead wire and braid
- Use suspensions
🏎️ GT Class Rules
❌ NSR Mosler is NOT legal for GT class.
- Applies to GT or Sedan models
- Standard: Sidewinder NSR GT with:
- Mabuchi-type S-Can motor (max 25,000 rpm)
- 11-tooth pinion
- 32-tooth spur gear
- Sidewinder drive
🚀 LMP Class Rules
✅ NSR Mosler IS legal for LMP class.
- Applies to non-GT cars (Can Ams, Prototypes, Hypercars, etc.) from 1965–present
Examples: Ford GT40, Lola T70, McLaren M6, Porsche 963, Audi R18, Ferrari 512 - Open-wheel cars are not allowed
Allowed Motors
- Slot.it long can Flat 6 (yellow label)
- Slot.it S-can V12/3 or V12/4 (orange or white endbell)
- NSR S-can Shark 22 (22,400 rpm) or Shark 25 (25,000 rpm)
Chassis & Drive
- Inline, anglewinder, or sidewinder drive
- Any gear ratio
- OEM chassis/pod or 3D-printed chassis designed for the entered car
🔍 Technical Inspection
- Chassis clearance: ≥ .032″ (including tape); gear clearance: ≥ .015″
- Car must comply with all general and class rules (class rules take precedence)
- No moving parts may extend beyond the fender when viewed from above (wheel inserts excepted)
- Faults may be corrected and re-teched if time allows
- Cars failing tech may race at the Race Director’s discretion but won’t count toward results or records
🕹️ Race Procedures
- Cars entered into race control system; lanes assigned randomly
- Lap counter is final unless proven otherwise
- Winner: most laps and sections completed in allotted time
Race Formats
Depending on entries and marshal availability:

- 3 minutes allowed between lanes for service/lane change
- Cars leaving for sit-out/service must be marked and returned to that spot
- In case of tie, final stop point is the tiebreaker
Track Calls
Made for:
- Braid defects
- Debris
- Riders (car on wrong lane)
- Lap counter failure
- Lane power loss
- Unreachable cars
- Unfair conditions (e.g., lack of marshals)
Marshaling & Conduct
- Drivers must marshal when not racing (or provide a capable substitute)
- Failure to marshal: 10-lap penalty per incident
- Race Director resolves all computer/rules questions
- Special events may follow different procedures
